How much does AnCon cost? 

Registration fees:

There are discounts available for students investigating Christianity, first year students, international students and for leaders. 

If you are in need of financial assistance, please talk to your faculty leader, Howie or staff worker, or fill out the SUEU AnCon Loan and Subsidies Inquiry Form here.

Do I have to pay all at once?

Nope! You can register without paying anything, and pay gradually by installments. Full payment is required by Tuesday July 1st at the latest, after which we will unfortunately have to cancel your rego. But why wait? If you pay at the time of registration, you will save yourself another task later. There is also a handy payment calculator linked here to help with paying by installments!

What if I want to come but cost is a barrier?

The AnCon Team has allocated a significant budget to help those who find that the event cost is a barrier to registering. If this applies to you, please do not hesitate to fill out a discounts/loans/subsidies form below and the treasurer will get in contact with you: https://app.sydneyunieu.org/ancon/financial-assistance

What loans and subsidies are available?

A loan will allow you to repay the cost of AnCon through a negotiated number of payments and a subsidy will reduce the price of AnCon by a certain amount. To apply for discounts or loans or subsidies please email us at ancon.rego@gmail.com.  

The loans and subsidies application process is a little different to previous years - we will be processing applications in two rounds, once at mid-sem and once at the end of the semester. Please have your application finalised and handed in by Sunday 27th April to be processed in the first round, or by Sunday 22nd June to be processed for the second round. Please note that the full application refers to the EU Loan and AnCon Subsidy Application Form and not the Inquiry Form that you may choose to fill in beforehands. If you need financial assistance after Sunday 22nd June, please email ancon.rego@gmail.com promptly but please understand that, though we will strive to help you as much as we can, we may not be able to supply you with the full loan or subsidy amount that you desire.

Where does my money go? 

Most of your money will be going towards accommodation, meals and facilities for the conference, as well as logistical aspects including the tech gear and set-up of locations. We also use some money to subsidise the registration of people investigating Christianity and first-timers.
