In 2026, why are there still Christians? After all our modern advances in science, medicine, society, and culture, why does Christian faith continue to persist?
The continued presence of people of religious belief in 2026 is a curiosity to some, an irritant to others. But with a series of high-profile conversions since the pandemic, we want to ask why: why are educated people becoming and staying Christian?
Our Speaker:
Becki Philip is the Dean of Education at Mary Andrews College in Sydney. She became a Christian towards the end of her undergrad degree. While she undertook a PhD in education curriculum at Sydney, she was part of EPS. She then studied at Moore College, before working as a school chaplain.
